Help & Support Center

Browse step-by-step Crystal Quant guidance for currently available cost estimating, tender, drawing, site, financial, team, quality, environmental, and project administration workflows.

Guides describe available workflows and may change during functional Beta. Review important project records and outputs before relying on them for commercial, legal, technical, or compliance decisions.

Contract workflows support project administration and do not provide legal advice, licensed contract documents, or certification of contract validity. Appropriate licences and professional review remain the user’s responsibility.

AI-assisted extraction and classification can be incomplete or incorrect. Readiness tracking is not certification, and users remain responsible for authorised review of project information.

Frequently asked questions

What is NRM classification and why is it important?

NRM (New Rules of Measurement) is a UK construction industry framework for cost estimation and measurement. It provides a structured way to categorise construction costs. Crystal Quant uses NRM-aligned cost-estimating workflows, and users should verify project outputs before relying on them for commercial decisions.

How does the tender management system work?

The tender system supports creating tender projects, organising work packages, inviting contractors to bid, comparing submissions, and recording award decisions. Contract workflows assist with project administration but do not provide legal advice or certify that a contract is valid.

Can I view and annotate PDF drawings?

The Drawing Review feature supports uploading and viewing construction drawings, navigating PDF pages, and adding available annotations. Users should review annotations and measurements before relying on them for construction or technical decisions.

Can I track multiple projects simultaneously?

During functional Beta, registered users can access currently available project workflows at no cost. Any post-Beta project limits have not yet been published.

How does the JCT contract system work?

Crystal Quant provides functional-Beta contract-management workflows for selected JCT 2016 families, including SBC, DB, IC and MW. It does not provide licensed JCT contract documents, legal advice, or certification of contract validity. Users remain responsible for appropriate licences and professional review.

How do I verify and screen subcontractors?

Crystal Quant supports review and verification workflows and can use Companies House data where available. Automated checks and third-party data do not grant marketplace verification by themselves; an authorised reviewer must make the approval decision.
